On October 13th, 2012 I volunteered at the Harvest Festival at the Greene County Museum. I was a runner for the event. I went around the different booths and vender's and asked them if they need anything like food or to watch their booth while they were away from them. it was a really nice day out. As I walked around I saw all the things the vender's were selling. There were jewelry, cloths, fudge, wooden carving and much more. later I helped to park cars in one of the parking lots. There was a civil war reenactment there as well. The day was long but I liked it.

On September 29th, and October 6th, 2012, I continued to work on the letters from Governor Martin's collection at the Greene Country Historical Society. I was a little surprised when I learned that he had been in Germany for some of World War II. the elections were coming up to so he and his wife were very busy with planning that and campaigning. They also had a friend who was fighting in Germany that they were keeping in touch with thought the war. Mrs. Martin was a big collector of antique pitchers. she had a little over 1,000 pitchers in her collection. She was always getting offers, which some of she had to refuse because she had so many already. I had a few visitors at the museum that I took care of. I'm still trying to get the hang of the cash register but its coming along. Well that's it until next time.

On September 22, 2012 I worked from 10:00am to 7:00pm. I started out continuing to work on categorizing letters from Governor Edward Martin of PA. I got 60 more letters recorded. so far have gotten 110 letters recorded on a spread sheet. towards 3:00 a father and son came to the museum and looked around fro a little bit.
When closing time came we headed down the Greene country fairgrounds where there was a first ever history trivia game going on. Jackie, me and a few other people helped with the setting up and the food before the games began. it was split into 3 sections with a t10 minute break in between. it ended around 7:00 after we cleaned up I was dropped back off at Campus. The day was tiring but fun.
